Effective September 15, 2026
StampWise analyzes a photo only when you ask it to identify a stamp. The app resizes and compresses the image on your device, then sends it over HTTPS through our Cloudflare Worker to our AI service provider, OpenAI, for identification.
Cloudflare provides network and Worker infrastructure. OpenAI analyzes the selected image and returns structured identification information. OpenAI API data is not used to train models unless the account owner opts in. Requests set provider application storage to disabled; OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days under its default data controls, subject to its terms and legal exceptions.
We do not maintain our own server database of uploaded photos or identification results. Request rate-limit counters are short-lived. Operational logs follow the retention configured for the Cloudflare account. Local Collection and History records remain until you delete them in Settings or remove the app. Provider processing and retention follow the provider terms described above.
You can cancel before sending an analysis, choose not to save a result, delete Collection and History records from Settings, and remove the app to remove its local data. Apple manages subscription history, cancellation, and subscription controls.
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell personal information. The app is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. For privacy questions or deletion help, visit StampWise Support.
